I am writing this letter in recommendation of MacNamara Fuels as a Fuel System Contractor. I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Shawn MacNamara and his staff/technicians on various diesel fuel system projects working with tank sizes ranging up to a capacity of 10,000 liters with dispensing stations. Throughout the fuel system upgrades MacNamara Fuels staff/technicians were very professional and respectful in and around the work place. On top of which Shawn MacNamara was accurate in pricing and there were no change orders or surprises. They offer full service when it comes to fuel systems; from completing drawings, obtaining required permits (TSSA, city, environmental), to the execution of the work. MacNamara Fuels is currently working with us on the design and installation of a 50,000 litre tank to feed three mobile generators (2 Megawatts each) for our Data Center Operation. We will defiantly continue to work with them again to complete any future projects as their pricing is reasonable, all questions and concerns are addressed and they complete the work in timely manner.

I have been working with MacNamara Fuels since 2015 for the installation of diesel tanks and generators for emergency power at television/radio transmission towers and studio sites. To date they have completed 8 projects and have been hired to work on 5 more in 2017. They have consistently delivered projects within a reasonable budget and time frame. I have not had any problems with the projects MacNamara has completed and my colleagues have commented that their interactions with the personnel have been pleasant. They are accommodating when there are requirements to make changes and adjustments to the work. MacNamara are also available to give regular progress updates which I found helpful since I don’t have the ability to always visit job sites. I have also found no flaws in their billing making the accounting process efficient and their commissioning reports are always complete and neat. Overall, I would recommend working with MacNamara for any fuel system related projects based on pricing and quality of work.

I have been working with MacNamara Fuels since September of 2015, when I got involved with the Re-Certification of the Ontario Fuel tanks for Allstream/Zayo Canada in my current role as Infrastructure Manager. At that time, MacNamara Fuels was referred to Allstream/Zayo Canada by an Engineering firm that Allstream/Zayo Canada also worked with.

I have found that MacNamara Fuels has strong customer service skills; sticking to their word, and committed to stand by their work, whether they are working on a relatively small project or as is our current one, a larger project of two (2) ten thousand liter tanks. In one particular situation, after MacNamara Fuels, had completed a re-certification on one of the larger fuel tanks, there seemed to be an ongoing issue with a syphoning issue from the Main Storage tank to the Day Tank inside the facility. MacNamara Fuels not only studied the issue, they also brought in experts to understand the issue in regards to getting it resolved. While it took some time to resolve; which it finally was, MacNamara Fuels was committed to getting the issue fixed, no matter the cost, and at their own expense.
